Funded by annual contributions from Laurel Ridge property owners, the Road Fund is a volunteer organization that oversees maintenance of the 3+ miles of private roads winding through our mountain community and plays a pivotal role in maintaining access to our mountain for residents and visitors alike. The Road Fund is managed by a core group of tireless volunteers, also known as Your 2025 Volunteer Road Crew: Bruce Burn and Vance McMillan (Road Maintenance Coordinators), Anna Alfano (PR and Communications), and Brian Robboy (Finance and IT Nerd).
Please join us in welcoming longtime neighbors Bruce Burn and Vance McMillan back to the Road Crew as Road Maintenance Coordinators! Bruce and Vance both bring significant road maintenance and community knowledge to our Crew, and will oversee periodic monitoring of our roads — as well as project management with Marek Bass Construction.
Marek Bass Construction remains our vendor-of-choice in 2025 for ongoing periodic maintenance on our roads. Since engaging MBC in early 2024, we’ve seen major improvements in road conditions throughout Laurel Ridge Mountain. In order to keep this momentum with quarterly maintenance, we need to receive annual contributions from every household on the mountain.
The suggested contribution amount for 2025 is $500. Split payment options are available, if needed. And many of your neighbors, especially those who live in problem areas, contribute significantly more than the suggested amount. Please join us in sharing our appreciation for their additional contributions.
